things

Things is an attempt to respond and interpret George Perec's book Things (org. Les Choses. Une histoire des années soixante, Paris:1965). Two different 4X4 meter background pictures had brought from a local photo studio to the exhibition space and the visitors are invited to stand on the foreground and pose for the camera. The visitors are welcomed to use the objects within the exhibition space. The aim of the project was to observe how the people are interacting with the imaginary space and commodities in the environment and in which way they are building a quick screen-persona which can just exist in front of the camera for a very short time.
